Tracy is a motivated and innovative physiotherapist and education. She received her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) from Queen’s University in 1991 and has over twenty years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. Her primary clinical experience was gained at Burnaby hospital and as the proprietor of a private physiotherapy clinic.
Tracy has been an instructor and coordinator with the Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma program at Capilano University since 2004. She is involved on a provincial and national level with ensuring that Rehabilitation Assistants are trained to the highest standard and are utilized most effectively in rehabilitation service delivery.
One of Tracy’s primary interests is memory and retention – both for learners and for individuals with dementia. She is engaged in professional development in this area and has provided several workshops to optimize teaching and learning to enhance retention.
The mother of three teenagers, Tracy enjoys backpacking the world with her family and running and yoga in her spare time.
